To build back better, Lebanon will have to upgrade its business environment and prioritize reforms that facilitate and reduce the cost of doing business while fostering competition. To help revive and restore trust in Lebanon’s economy the Productive Industries sector aims to foster inclusive policy dialogue on reforms and policies linked to supporting a business enabling environment, in particular in relation to the productive industries, including the cultural and creative industries.
In 2023, priority reforms and policies under this sector will be discussed in accordance with the 3RF principle of inclusive dialogue within the forum of the “Prosperity Results Group”, which is a coordination forum linked to the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework, the key UN strategic document to support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Lebanon and for the period 2023-2025.
